Pitch good and a decent game. Toft are an excellent side and they punished our makeshift back 4 today. We conceded 2 soft goals, 1 a miskick by our keeper leading to a tap-in, the other a dink cross and the toft forward just walked in between our centre backs to nod in from less that 5 yards. 3-0 toft at half time.
Second half we still didn't get close enough to Toft and the 50/50 balls were wanted more by Toft and we found ourselves 5-0 down after 2 goals from corners not dealt with. We got 1 back from a driven free kick, added a 2nd and a 3rd to make it 5-3 but Toft scored again late on to finish the job. The last 25 mins we really got stuck in and showed we can compete, we will take this into next week.
Thanks to Toft for a good game, well contested but ultimately won by a class side.
