This was a rearranged league game from earlier in the season.
The first half was a little bit scrappy but Harry Pickup scored a well worked team goal to make it 1-0 to us at half time. We should probably have scored another 1 or 2 whilst we limited Langworthy's chances.
It was more of the same in the second half but Langworthy were pushing for a goal. They had two great 1 on 1 chances, the first from a poor clearance from myself that they blasted wide and the second that our keeper saved, which was justice as the striker was a couple of metres offside! We then managed to score two late goals, another good team goal that fullback Jared Brown scored and a freekick from Jonti Calter to make for a better scoreline!
I know Andrew was missing a couple of key players, but Langworthy definitely have the quality to stay up.
