This report is a bit late, it is from last week. We had a great start creating a couple of good chances before going 1-0 up through Jonti Calter. Ramsbottom responded immediately as Tom Zabel scored 2 quick goals to go into half time 2-1 up.
We felt like we were playing better football but struggled to create much in the second half, and Ramsbottom were very effective with their long ball game. Matt Coward scored a header to take Rammy 3-1 up before we got a penalty late on which Jonti Calter scored but we couldn't quite find the equaliser.
Well done to Rammy who are looking good for promotion now!
