Played on 3g pitch, weather ok but Sun made it difficult to head the ball. Draw was probably about a fair result on chances created but I thought we enjoyed more of the play. We were disappointed to lose after being 2-1 up with less than a minute to play but thats how it goes sometimes!
We went 1 nil up after a strike by John Wright from just inside the Kay street half went in with the keeper blinded by the sun but Kay street equilised in identical fashion. Our second goal was a peach of a free kick from about 20 yards out curled into the top corner. We dug in to try and hold on for the win, the Kay Street forward who led the line well by himself for large parts missed an absolute sitter with 5 minutes to play and I thought we were going to hang on but last kick of the game saw the ball hoofed forward into the box and a tangle between centre backs, goalkeeper and forward saw the ball poked home. Gutting! We were light on numbers and some deadline day signings had good debuts for us. Jed at the back had a very good game, for a young lad read the game very well and slotted in like he had been a regular place there. George up front and Al playing out of position in midfield both worked hard! Good game well contested by both sides and referee'd very well. Keeps it tight at the top of div. 2 and cup to come on saturday!

Yeah a fair report. We didn't play too great and macc parish probably played the better football. Having said that we had more clear cut chances and Im not sure how it took us until the last minute to score our second! Overall a draw was probably fair.
A very exciting match and a lot of the second half was end to end. The game was played in good spirit with no incidents. Good luck to macc parish for the rest of the season.
