Congratulations to Elvis and his players for winning this Cup match.
King's took the lead 3 times, Hurdsfield equalised 3 teams- including late in the second half and very late in extra time. Then it went to penalties and King's came out on top. King's are a new team of course but you wouldn't have know that from their performance today - they showed that we have good teams and good football being played in all divisions of SMCCFL. It looked like they are enjoying their first season in the League and it was great to see how they celebrated winning the penalty shoot out.
I think the pitch soft and with long grass made it difficult for the players, but can't complain after the rain in the week and overnight..
