When I had to leave early on 55 mins (because The Owls were at home with early KO) it was 1-1.......and then I got a text msg from Jonny to say that we had won 6-1.
But, in some ways no surprise.......although Firwood took the lead and it was 1-1 when I left, in the first half we had so many scoring chances and only converted one, it looked like it was only a matter of time before the goals would go in. I thought the possession was quite well balanced between the 2 teams, and although Firwood were comfortable on the ball and passed it round well, I didn't think they offered much attacking threat.
Match played with good attitude by both sets of players, for the 55 mins I watched.
