We nearly surrendered a 4-0 half time lead, with Macc Parish hitting the bar twice and being denied a good penalty shout near the end. Macc Parish did not deserve to lose.
Even though Hurdsfield went 4-0 up in the first half, it was mainly due to poor goal keeping with MP playing some good football throughout and it was always an evenly matched contest. Maybe we thought It was won at half time and it made a difference when MP put their first half keeper up front and the keeper than came in did OK. I suppose the result was determined by us having our regular keeper and Macc Parish missing theirs.
