Forgot to come back to this one, sorry Steve !
YES, it was an amazing goal your free kick from so far out. I actually though it was going over and then it hit the underside of the bar and bounced down and in. Ditton's first half equaliser was also long range.
No goals in the second half despite opportunities for both teams. We had a more youthful team than usual, really pleasing result given the team we had and losing Steve to season ending knee injury in the first half.
The infamous Ditton pitch was not as bad as I had feared. The slope is not as severe as I was expecting and we were lucky it was dry, but the grass was too long and the lines not marked ! Ditton and all visiting players will be pleased that Ditton expect to be at a different pitch next season !
