Another close one between these two sides, 1-1 until about 15 minutes to go and Blues scoring their third with the last kick of the match.
I thought Blues deserved to win as they carried more attacking threat throughout the match and Hurdsfield keeper had a very good match. But for Hurdsfield, we also had good chances and maybe if 'talisman' Jonny had not gone off injured with 25 minutes to go we might have managed to hold on to the draw (we also went down to 10 men in the last 10 mins due to another injury). Both teams made a good match of it in very soggy pitch conditions, wind and rain (although it did stop raining by the second half and the sun even came out for a good stretch of the second half).

I agree with Mike on his report but with a few additions. If there were stats, it would have shown how many shots we had compared to Hurdsfield, which was probable about 20ish compared to their 4 or 5. That said, the hurdsfield keeper kept them in the game, and the result could have gone either way. Hurdsfield were always a threat though, and we never felt comfortable to their credit. A very satisfying win for us because Hurdsfield made us work for it, and credit to them, they never gave up.
Cheers lads!
