We had a good squad available to us this sat and had 3 or 4 good players who couldn't get into our 15 and it showed as we got out of the blocks quickly and led 5-0 at half time with goals from adrian, sam, tails, tom and luke. In the 2nd half Firwood improved and caused us a few problems as we made 4 changes and we didnt take some great chances. Adrian got another as the game petered out. Firwood never gave it up at any point and must take credit from their 2nd half performance.
Selection meeting this week could be tough after our joint best score in the top division. Next week we hope to play Revival in what looks like a battle for 2nd place.
