Close game on a really hard bobbly pitch.
Neither team were able to play as much football as they liked - often having to opt for the direct ball.
SMA went 1 nil up in the 2nd half from a long throw which was spilled in by the keeper. We felt there was a clear push but the ref gave the goal.
Immediately we went down the other end and scored a very nice neat goal which was volleyed into the top corner.
The game stretched a little and with 15 to go our midfielder went through the middle but couldnt get a shot away due to the poor state of the pitch. He did well however, to bundle around the keeper and covering defender to place the ball in the back of the net.
A great battling team performance.
