A vital game at both ends of the table and a good game played in reasonable spirits.
South Manchester probably edged it enough to claim the points with enough due cause but it was closer than the result might first suggest. In the last minute we were 2-3 down and had a free kick on the right of the box and with all 11 of our players within 25 yards of their goal SMAFC defended it well, cleared long and the little striker ran clear to seal their win with the last kick of the game.
We now await results from Ramsbottom's last game and People's last 2 games to determine which division we'll play in next season... strangely a win this morning would have put us 3rd! Its a tight league
SMAFC v Burnley next week decides the champions, should be a good finish.
