The only difference today was that we took our chances when they came our way and unfortunately for Salford they couldnt covert theirs.
Game was very evenly matched and Salford will be unhappy they couldnt score. They had a penalty that hit the post in the 1st 10 mins and a glorious chance at 1-0 to level, but their striker (after beating 2 players) fired too close to the keeper at short range.
We went 1 up after 25 minutes with a fine strike from outside the area. Our second came in the last few minutes after a nice cross into the box was neatly brought down and laid off to our striker to apply the finish.
The game seemed to have waves of pressure from both teams and it was extremely close throughout.

and some indecisive decision making in front of goal left us frustrated but proud of the togetherness we showed to compete with Burnley for the full 90 minutes.
