Great game of football today, GH starting quite well with some good possesion but as we normally do we seemed to have had enough of playing second fiddle and within 25 mins we were 3 up.
Long range strikes from paul brush and twice from mike kirby, the second a sublime strike from a tight angle turned the game on its head.
Gh responded superbly as we defended very poorly as a team allowing their left winger to do us for pace slotting through our keepers legs 3-1.
1 minute later their striker made it 3-2 smashing into roof of net on 40 mins,gh were rampant now.
Just when we were wishing ht would come the ball was passed out wide to nathan lowe who smashed an unstoppable shot from 30 yards into the top corner..HT 4-2
2nd half GH were well on top for 20 mins and made it 4-3, again a very sloppy goal to concede when our keeper miskicked after receiving the ball from a throw in.4-3
3 subs from us gave us the impetus we required, mark harris with a beauty of a free kick on 75mins, gh then hitting the bar before a joddy cahill tap in.FT 6-3
Very pleasing win for us considering we didnt play that well, gh impressed me as they played right till the death.
Another game played in good spirits and another top set of lads.well done to pete and his boys.
