Game switched to leigh rec..a decent pitch.
Ccb started brightly and had the ball in the net on 3 mins..
Thankfully it was offside, great strike aswell.It spurred us on as first joddy cahill scored on 6mins followed by mike kirby 10 and paul brush 20.
A wonder strike from their centre mid made it 3-1 on 28mins and we responded again making it 4-1 as joddy cahill smashed home inside the box.
We had 3 other good opportunities aswell but the CCB keeper was in top form.Ht 4-1.
Ccb came out pumped up after a ht rollicking I would imagine and pushed us back for long periods.
They created 2 good chances as we got caught out of shape and should have punished us.They also missed a pen on 75mins which tony pitt saved well to his right.
Paul brush scored our 5th with a mazy run from the right beating 3 players 5-1.
Both teams were tired now having given everything.mick o'neill scored a pen with virtually the last kick of the game 6-1.
Ccb are a great set of lads.the game was played in excellent spirits.
