Burnley advance through to the semi's after a 1st half extra time goal sealed the win.
Both teams let down by late drop outs, although I think Oasis had to put up with a few morning no shows which never helps.
The game was a good spectacle for anyone watching with good football played by both sides throughout.
Burnley had the lions share of chances 1st half but couldnt convert them into anything. In the second half we started well and were awarded with a penalty which was awarded after Jamie (oasis manager) confirmed it was on the line of the area and therefore a pen.
We scored another not long after this with a nice left foot shot into the bottom corner.
Oasis then found their rhythm and were easily the better team for the remainder of normal time. They first scored after a nice turn from their midfielder on the edge of the box set up their oncoming winger to slot home. About 10 mins later after some sustained pressure they were awarded with a penalty - which was converted and sent the game into extra time.
Burnley managed to convert a corner in the first half and then were able to see out the game.
Nervy for managers, but I expect very entertaining for the dog walkers who stopped to watch!
Well done Oasis, on what I witnessed yesterday they have a good group of lads and were a credit to themselves and their manager.
