Impossible conditions today for football with the wind..St pauls started the sharper and wanted it more than us.
A total miskick from our keeper saw the ball roll into the net after 15 mins, a fluke but st pauls deserved their lead.
We equalised through marcus harris after 32mins with a lovely finish lobbing the keeper after thomas oneill's through ball.Ht 1-1
Second half we had the wind behind us but we still struggled to create many clear cut chances.only 1 shot from mike kirby which keeper parried.
St pauls had 2 glorious opportunities to go ahead but our keeper stood strong to deny them.
We took the lead from a corner on 75 mins, mick onei'll crossing for joddy cahill to head home 2-1.
Thats how it stayed aswell. Not the best game due to the wind but its a vital result as the battle with ivy goes to the wire!!
Cheers st pauls.
