For the third time, Oasis travelled with a bare 11 players and were minus 5 first team players. After a 5 hours trip to Kent, we started well and had more and the better of possession and created several very good chances, however, failure to convert any of them meant the half score was goal less as Hayes only had one shot at our goal.
The second half started similarly and again we contrived to miss good opportunities. Then in the 55th minute we took the lead through a 30 yards shot into the top corner from Nathan Braddish. The lead was short lived as Hayes scored from a goalmouth scramble after we failed to deal with a corner.
Oasis continued to dominate and make chances before Hayes hit us on the counter attack in the 72nd minute and scored the winner with only their third attempt on our goal.
Whilst the scoreline was unfortunate, the lesson learned is that without your best players, you always struggle. The trophy has been an enjoyable journey and I hope we get ourselves into a position were we can try again next season.
It's left to Ditton Athletic to keep going in the trophy and CS Yellow in the cup, we wish them well and hope for two SMCCFL clubs in the finals.

disappointing to see you had a ringer up front for your team, looks like if we do make the final, we will be playing against him again if Ditton progress

Hey, just because it's a Christian Cup, doesn't mean you can't cheat a bit, eh Cheshire?

Lee, why does it look like you will be facing him again if both clubs progress?

Thought Nathan Braddish played for Ditton. How come he was playing for you in the National Cup?? Because he could be playing for both teams but as someone else said he transferred over to Oasis, who to be fair were unlucky against us, it was just out day I guess, good luck for the rest of the season!!
