A good game of football played between both teams on a tight and very, very windy 3g pitch.
Community Solutions took the lead with a lovely passing move being finished off at the far post by our center midfielder.
Both teams had chances throughout the rest of the half, with both keepers making good saves. 1-0 at half time.
2nd half we had the wind at our backs, but had to be careful of the counter attack by St Peter's who pressed the ball well.
We got a 2nd after a throw was flicked on to our winger who nodded home from close range.
St Peter's got 1 back with around 15mins to go, after their midfielder slotted home a 1-on-1 with our keeper.
We defended well for the rest of the game, and didn't give them any clear chances, and could've added another ourselves, but were denied by a fantastic save from a volley which was tipped on to the post.
St Peter's were a good team and a good set of lads who looked to play football on the floor.
This win takes us on to play Battle Baptist in East Sussex! A bit of a journey!
