Another tight game between these 2 closely matched teams (despite the scoreline at the end)
It was 3-2 to Firwood from about 65mins through to the last couple with WAFC playing a lot of the game in Firwood's half (looking for an equaliser) and Firwood looking dangerous, as they always do, on the break.
But in the last 3 mins Firwood scored twice to seal the victory.
We've had a few games like this recently but we need to work out how to not have to chase the game but control it a little earlier in the piece.
WAFC goalscorers were a 25 yrd strike from David Hall (1st goal for 2 years!) and a lovely curled free kick effort from debutant Nicky.
Ref was half decent as were Firwood of course.
