Smafc were two up inside of ten minutes, with goals from Nathan Brooks and Ed Gasson and then added a further two goals, another from Ed and one from Mike Hayes.
Peoples went close with a deflected shot midway through the half and had a deft header from a free kick well parried by the keeper but Smafc had the better of the half.
Half time 4-0
Peoples started to play more in the second half and showed some great fighting spirit but couldn't prevent a further two goals from Mike and Nathan bringing three players onto a brace.
Peoples added a consolation goal and should've done better with their only other chance of the half before another two goals from Stuart Ironmonger and Jay McCurdy made it 8-1.
