Decent time to play Focus due to the Merseyside Derby being the same day!
They had a player let them down on the day and could only field 10 players.
Still they were incredibly organised and didn't let us through despite a lot of pressure.
We managed to get one after about 30 minutes when a strike from the edge of the area could only be parried by the keeper and followed up by our winger to slot in.
Second half was much the same although Focus went on the attack a little more and in turn left a few more openings for us to try and exploit.
Despite some half chances we couldnt add another and saw the game out to win 2-0.
Next up is St Peters in Shipley who we played on the 1st round last year.
