We arrived in Coventry after a 2 hours drive with 15 minutes to spare and with an understength side, however, our midfield quickly got into their stride and we deservedly took the lead in the 15th minute through Graeme Long. 2 minutes later we doubled our lead when Jordan Wilding scored.
Elim Eagles then pressed us back for 10 minutes before Graeme Long got his second in the 30th minute. This seemed to deflate Elim and we then dominated the remainder of the half and added a 4th through Alan Scott in the 40th minute.
The second half was all Oasis and we added 2 more goals through Graeme Long to take our tally to 6 and his to 4.
A comprehensive victory and we join Ditton Athletic in the 3rd round carrying the SMCCFL flag in the trophy
