A keenly contested match that Oasis had better of in the first half and led after goals by Jimmy McNamee and Graeme Long, it could and should have been more than 2-0 at half time but we were wasteful in front of goal.
Ambassadors started second half well and after a very good passing move got a goal back in the 60th minute through Craig Keane. However, this woke Oasis up and Tom Lupton made it 3-1 in the 64th minute.
The game was now end to end and Craig Keane pulled another one back in 78 minutes to ensure a grandstand finish, however, again Oasis came back and despite us missing a penalty, Tom Lupton got our 4th in the final minute.
A good competitive match between my old and current teams and I'm sure Ambassadors will win more than they lose and finish high in first division if they battle as hard as they did today.
