Decent game of football this on a heavy pitch after some midweek rain, although playable.
The game was quite tight early on with both teams trying to adapt to the windy conditions.
Kay st had the advantage first half kicking downhill but it was us who took the lead through nathan braddish, quite a tame shot on the turn from edge of box wrong footing the keeper 1-0.
On the 25 min mark our ref had to go off injured so I stepped in temporarily . soon after nathan braddish made it 2-0 skipping past 3 defenders and a good finish from a tight angle.HT 2-0.
After consultation with kay st we agreed the ref would continue albeit restricted in his running.
Our 3rd goal came with a wonderful long range strike from david buckley the keeper could only parry it into top corner.4th was a joddy cahill strike.
Kay street scored next with jonti calter catching our keeper out when the ball looked as if it was going over the bar but dropped into the net.
2 late strikes from joddy cahill completing his hatrick, gave us a convincing win.
Credit to math and his side who were a credit to the league, game was played in a good spirit aswell.
Best of luck for rest of season.
