Very fortunate that this game was played as heavy rain all night meant that the pitch was extremely soft and muddy.
However, considering the state of the pitch, I think this was the best we've played all season. We managed to pass, move and play attractive football, despite what the pitch had to offer. Hurdsfield defended well but eventually we found the back of the net after aprox 35 min and we didn't look back from there.
Friendly game and despite a frustrating 90 mins for Hurdsfield their players were (as always) extremely sporting & friendly.
