Yellows went 1-0 down after 5 minutes after SM broke down the right and fired into the top corner.
We pulled level on the 30 minute mark when veteran Martin Belshaw scored from the edge of the area. This goal has been a long time coming, Martin hasn't played for us for 4 years since tearing both cruciate ligaments.
Despite having lots of possession and some decent chances we couldn't convert any into goals. SM keeper had a fine game and pulled off some excellent one on one saves.
It's not really clicking for us at the minute in front of goal ....hopefully we can put it right next week.

It was a good, well contested game. We could've gone 0-2 up if not for a great point blank save before the equaliser. If both sides had converted their clear cut chances it would've been more like 5-2.
It sets up a good game for the reverse fixture, where hopefully both sides can have their full squads available, unlike today.
Cheers for the mention, second reluctant outing in goal this season already!
Good luck for the season gents.
