Safe to say not a great day for us! Nothing really I can say about the game apart from that I don't think we played very well and I think Ramsbottom did.
1st half we had the lions share of the possession but didn't really do anything with it. We couldn't create as many chances as we normally like to and at the other end we looked shaky. I don't think we looked organised all game to be honest and Ramsbottom managed to get through on more than one occasion. They went ahead in the 1st with a stonewall penalty ...to be honest he probably could have had 3 as he skipped past players in the box who couldnt get near he ball and were certainly nearer to the man.
This rallied us slightly and we eventually managed to equalize after our full back followed up from hitting the post.
Second half we didn't look at the races. Ramsbottom were getting more of the ball and half way through caught the defence napping down the left to score their second. We went 3 at the back and they added a 3rd 10 minutes later, taking advantage of a lose ball in the area.
We could have had a penalty after this but the ref didn't give it. To be fair I don't think he gave us much all game (although he certainly isn't the reason we lost)
We played a little better after this and pulled one back with a really nice move down the middle and a cool finish.
Not much later the ref blew and Ramsbottom gained a deserved victory,
I think they will be hard for teams to beat this season. They are well organised and have enough creativity to add goals at the other end.

Thanks Burger for the report.
To be honest I thought we would do well to come away with a draw or only losing by a couple of goals today. I say this, not because I don't have confidence in my team or defeatist attitude but when, due to various reasons, I only had 11 players for the first half and looking ever more likely only 10 in the 2nd half you can understand why.
We managed to get the 11 for the 2nd 45mins managing to get the other player picked up after his car blew up on the motorway.
I have to agree that a penalty could have also been awarded against us and thankfully on this occasion it went in our favour. But as Burger says I personally feel we fully deserved the victory.
Thanks to Burger and the team - who we know will be up there come April/May time.
I know that if we can carry on playing like we did today for the rest of the season who knows what we could do...... ;-)
