Our 2nd round draw was against last years semi finalists who were beaten by the eventual winners.
We knew this was going to be tough, but for a neutral this game was outstanding.
We had most of the possession during the game, however we were shaky on the counter attack. In the 1st 10 minutes st christophers were 2-0 up, only for us to come back and dominate - leading 3-2 by half time.
2nd half saw us on top once more - adding another to make it 4-2. Unfortunately, we couldnt keep our energy levels up and cracks began to show as a tired midfield kept getting caught too far up the pitch and leaving us short.
St Christophers scored 3 goals in the last 20 minutes and we had nothing left in the tank to get one at the other end.
A good learning curve for us in this cup.
