If I remember correctly we played each other in the semi final last year but bolton were the home team.
The game started tense with both teams giving away fouls. One of these was rather fortunately awarded to us, when I thought the ref had given it the other way. We stuck it into the box and our defender found himself with a free header to make it 1-0. Harsh on Bolton considering it was a fortunate free kick.
We managed to get a grip on the game after this which was largely helped by the wind and Sun in our favour.
Bolton hit the bar after they caught us on the break close to the end of the first half.
Our midfielder added 2 more before half time stealing breaks on the bolton defence.
We knew the first 10 of the 2nd half would be crucial and our defence stood up well to the added pressure. They did break lines though but thankfully the bolton attacker shot straight into the arms of our keeper whilst one on one.
As bolton searched we caught a few chances on the bream but couldn't convert into the fourth goal.
With 10 mins to go bolton scored a nicely taken goal rifled into the corner from the edge of the box.
We didn't give them anything else after this thankfully and we managed to see out the game.
I think we have toft in the final - should be a corner!
