I found out the result for the top of the table clash.
It means that it looks like the Div 1 title will go to Toft if the remaining results for both teams go to form........I think.

Burger is on his hols, so I'll do a quick summary.
The game was quite a poor one in terms of the football both teams can play, but anyway.
We took the lead after about 25 mins with a nice finish after a good move, it didn't take toft long to equalise with a nice header from a corner. 1-1 at half time.
We scored a volley at the back post 5 mins into the 2nd half, and I thought we were coping ok, until a low cross was fired in and our winger tried to clear, but only succeeded in smashing it into the top corner.
Our heads and shape seemed to go after this, and Toft scored a nice goal with a good turn and finish from the edge of the box.
We then let Toft get 2 more quite soft goals in the last 10 mins after two scuffed clearances were picked up on and tucked away.
Congratulations to Toft, we're now relying on others to help us out.
We've just got to make sure we play well against Hurdsfield next week, and then concentrate on trying to defend the cup.

From the Toft sidelines...
The first half was very even with Burnley starting the brighter. Burnley took the lead when a good finish capitalised on some poor tackling. Toft quickly grabbed an equaliser from a corner and honours were even at the end of the half. There was a lot of long balls on the small pitch in the first half and Toft were keen to use their long throw which was well defended. Burnley grabbed an early second half lead when an unmarked player volleyed in from close range. Toft then went pressing for an equaliser and managed to score two quick goals which turned the game. Following the own goal, Toft's striker scored a fantastic solo goal beating four players and finishing well to make up for a couple of missed sitters. Toft were then in the ascendency and scored two more with Burnley players losing concentration and shape. Toft were unable to add to their tally thanks to an excellent performance by the Burnley keeper who made some great saves. In the end it was a good win for Toft thanks to an improved second half performance and a full squad for the first time this season.
