Another good game this from last saturday with both teams looking to play good attacking football,unfortunately the grass was waterlogged so we had to use our astro turf pitch which neither side wanted.
At HT we were 3-0 up with goals from michael jackson,si mathews and sam shomefun,westwood were not without chances themselves but struggled to find the finish despite good build ups.
The first goal of the 2nd half was scored by westwood from a yard out when they reacted quickest to a loose ball.they had a spring in their step now and could have scored again.
We made several subs and managed to get 3 more goals from nathan braddish 2 (on as a sub) and si mathews to get a deserved win.
Overall westwood pressed hard with a good performance.they have some dangerous players,the only thing missing was the finish.i expect them to get better and better as the season goes on though.
